A tremendous amount of hard work, collaboration, emotional investment, and unrelenting dedication go into every project we complete. In many ways, the best and most efficient way to display our efforts is to show what we have already done. The galleries in this section showcase an entire library of our previous projects. When asked: "What is your company capable of?" we proudly point to these climbing gyms.

Featuring just over 6,600 sq.ft. of climbing, the design relies on both ARC and MLM construction to provide challenge and variety to their member-base. Übergrippen Indoor Climbing Crag

The owners of Übergrippen are essentially executing on the perfect plan of bringing a modern, design-driven facility to a city that couldn't be more deserving. Steep Rock Bouldering

Opened in 2013, this bouldering-specific facility located on the Upper East Side of New York City packs a lot into a small space. This climbing gym features over 2000 square feet of climbing walls, using ARC designs for curved features throughout. It is impressive how easily you can get your fix for climbing met in the middle of the largest metropolitan area in the US. The unique dimensions of the space required proper planning ahead of time to maximize the floor plan for climbing square footage, fall zones, customer ease of approach and one seriously steep cave design feature.

Steep Rock Bouldering

When Steep Rock Bouldering owner Michael Cesari came to us with his location for his second gym, we were more than psyched. SRB West as it would be called, was targeting a beautiful building around Columbia University, where the exterior featured a full glass facade. Unlike his original location which features a shotgun-style exterior where little is seen by passers-by, Vertical Solutions had to create something that would be on public display for 24 hours a day. The challenges of this, plus a multi-floor design, efficient use of space and New York City logistics in general make this project an absolute stand-out...

Ground Up Climbing Centre

Ground Up built a well-deserved indoor climbing gym with Vertical Solutions that is every bit as beautiful inside as B.C. is outside. The owners wanted their facility to have a balance focused on rope climbing, but their bouldering wall couldn’t be lacking in appearance. As a result they dedicated most of the 8,000 sq. ft. wall space to rope climbing, but the 16 ft. tall & 94 ft. long bouldering wall is a standout not to be taken lightly. At that height and with compound curves throughout, the result is somehow both aesthetically inviting from afar and menacing on the approach. Aesthetics were ultra…
